Course Objectives The objective of this course to teach the students the Advanced Life Support Applications
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • will be able to explain basic concepts of ECG and apply cardiac monitoring
  • will be able to apply rhythm analysis and identify normal sinus rythm
  • will be able to recognize and describe bradyarrhythmias, and apply prehospital algorithms
  • will be able to recognize and define tacyarrhythmias with narrow or wide QRS complex and apply prehospital algorithms
  • will be able to recognize acute coronary syndrome and apply prehospital algorithms
  • will be able to apply intubation, defibrillation and cardioversion
  • will be able to apply advance life support algorithms
Course Description ECG Basic Concepts and cardiac monitoring, heart Conduction System, ECG Leads and Cardiac ACS, ECG waves and heart rhythm assessment, heart rate assessment, rhythm analysis, and normal sinus rhythm, premature beats, Bradyarrhythmias, Bradyarrhythmias in the pre-hospital care, supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) (narrow QRS tachycardia), supraventricular tachycardia in the wide QRS-causing situations and ventricular tachyarrhythmias (wide QRS tachycardia), tachyarrhythmia in the pre-hospital care, acute coronary syndromes, Acute coronary Syndromes pre-Hospital care, Cardiac Arrest Rhythms the in the pre-hospital Cardiac Arrest Management, Applications of Advance Life Support.
